The Flood

Designer Victoria and Albert Museum

This wonderful design is adapted from a furnishing fabric for children designed by Dorothy Hutton in 1929. Dorothy Hutton was a painter, calligrapher and print maker who exhibited for many years at the Royal Academy. She is probably best known for her London Transport posters.
