Designer Raymond Honeyman

A wonderful design in the Art Nouveau tradition. Art Nouveau in Europe paralleled the Arts and Crafts movement in Britain. Both sought to dissolve the traditional distinction between fine art and applied art. Art Nouveau, with its sinuous curves, reached its peak in Paris between 1890 and 1910. The entrances to the metro are perhaps its most famous legacy and Raymond's title reflects the Parisian history of this movement. A smaller design than usual from Raymond and a quick one to stitch.
