Fleur de Lys

$100.00

Designer Candace Bahouth

"For me the medieval period inevitably conjures up visions of flamboyant festivals, pageants and tournaments, of flowing banners and cloths and of gaily caparisoned knights, all repeatedly emblazoned with fleur de lys." This example was found by Candace on a sumptuous wall hanging belonging to Duke Charles the Bold which had accompanied him to the battle of Grandson in 1476.
